Psychological Assessment

Clayton provides a wide range of psychological assessments tailored to meet your individual needs, including:

  • Autism and ADHD assessments

  • IQ, Memory and other cognitive assessments

  • Educational, achievement and Specific Learning Disorder assessments

  • Personality assessments

  • Adaptive functioning assessments

Assessment Process

The assessment process begins with an initial consultation, during which Clayton will explore your background with you, discuss your reasons for seeking an assessment, and determine the most suitable approach for your needs. Following this session, you will receive a detailed quote for the assessment.

If you decide to proceed, the assessment is typically conducted over two to three sessions, each lasting up to two hours. During these sessions, you can expect:

  • A diagnostic interview

  • Completion of several forms and questionnaires

  • A clinical interview with a family member

  • Collection of relevant collateral information (if appropriate), such as school reports, prior psychological assessments, and reports from oany other allied health professionals.

Report Feedback and Retrieval

After the assessment, Clayton will take approximately three weeks to score and compile your comprehensive report. Depending on the number of tests administered, this process may sometimes take longer, but you will be kept informed throughout.

Once your report is completed, you will be invited to schedule a feedback session, during which Clayton will discuss your results in detail. You will then receive both a physical and digital copyof your report.

Please note that the feedback session and report handover can only be completed once the assessment has been paid in full. Flexible payment plans are available. For more information on the assessment cost, please refer to the fees page.

Clayton does not provide court reports or expert witness services for legal matters.
